A rare collection of sermons by F. W. Boreham. This was his first full-length book, and exemplifies his striking ability to see God anywhere and everywhere. Boreham wrote at least 50 full-length books and has been called the greatest essayist in the English language. His work has been hailed in recent days by Billy and Ruth Graham, Ravi Zacharias, and Warren Wiersbe as one of the most under-appreciated authors of the 20th century. "Of the books that have played the greatest role in molding me, I count many volumes by especially one writer F. W. Boreham. He authored more than fifty books of essays and pastored congregations in New Zealand, Tasmania, and Australia. He was not the classical preacher, not even a profound, deep preacher, but he was marvelous at seeing beauty in the simple things of life. He heeded John Wesley's charge to young preachers to blend simplicity with sublimity, 'the strongest sense in the plainest language." —Ravi Zacharias
The Whisper of God F W Boreham 9781521080016 Books
I have been reading the works of FW Boreham for a number of years now, even collecting the volumes that I stumble across. And then I found this gem. It is totally different than any of his other works, in that they are a collection of his early sermons and not his typical essays. Sort of a hybrid between his 5-volume "Texts that made History" series, which were sermons and his other cosmopolitan essays that cover a broad range of topics.I was moved by each sermon, profoundly so. This early glimpse into his dedication to the text and his exaltation of Christ only confirms why he is my favorite writer and why the world is missing out through their neglect of his works. This particular volume is a hard-to-find early contribution by Boreham, but what a blessing that Chariot eBooks tracked a copy down and converted this for an entire generation to read.

Wonderful read
His style is engaging and then the lessons he teaches are often surprising and always inspiring. I love his writing!
Great read! Memorable insights on every page. Highly recommended. Amazing to see how his ideas transcend time and cross generations.
The writing is inspired and insightful. Well worth the read. Many other outstanding authors quote Mr. Boreham often. Highly recommend.
I wish this book was available in paperback so I could purchase and give to others. This book helped me to see a little deeper into the wonders of God.
I love old books, but most Borehams are really expensive.
This is a wonderful read! The author was mentioned by Ravi Zacharias on one of his programs! I will be buying more of his books. I am quite pleased. He makes one think!
